Grace United Methodist Church is blessed by the dedication of volunteers who help nurture faith

and fellowship among our children and youth. If you feel called to serve, we’d love to welcome

you into this vital ministry!

Sunday School Details:

    Time | Sundays at 10:15AM

Age Groups:

    Children | Preschool through 5th Grade

    Youth | 6th through 12th Grade

Volunteers help create a safe, engaging, and faith-filled environment where young people can

grow in their relationship with God and each other.

Volunteer Requirements

To ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, all Sunday School volunteers must:

    Complete Children, Youth, and Vulnerable Adult Protection Training

    Read and sign our Protection Policy

    Pass a Background Check

These steps help us maintain a secure and welcoming space for every child and youth in our care.

Ways You Can Serve

    Ushering | Greet worshipers with a smile, help them find seats, distribute bulletins, and assist with

    the offering. Ushers help set a tone of hospitality and care.

    Serving Communion | Participate in the sacred tradition of Holy Communion by helping distribute  

    the elements during worship. Training is provided, and all are welcome to serve.

    Sound Board and Streaming | Help bring worship to life for in-person and online attendees by operating 

    the sound board or assisting with livestreaming.

Scheduling and Training

We offer flexible scheduling and provide simple training for each role. Whether you’re available

once a month or more often, your presence makes a difference!

Grace Cares is the heart of congregational care at Grace UMC. We are a team of volunteers dedicated to nurturing the spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being of our church family.  Whether you are celebrating a milestone or facing a hardship, Grace Cares is here to provide support, prayer, and comfort.

Grace Cares is here to offer a wide range of services that reflect our belief in compassionate care for all members of our congregation.

    Prayer Support | Our team is dedicated to praying for the needs of our church family. If you or someone 

    you love is in need of prayer, we invite you to reach out to us.

    Visitation Ministry | Whether you're homebound, in the hospital, or in a care facility, Grace Cares provides 

    in-person visits, offering encouragement, prayer, and communion when appropriate.

    Meal Ministry | During times of illness, grief, or significant life transitions, we offer meals to 

    support families in need.

    Grief Support | We provide a safe space for those experiencing loss through support groups, one-on-one 

    conversations, and grief ministry resources.

    Care Packages and Acts of Kindness | Periodically, we assemble care packages filled with thoughtful items 

    to lift the spirits of members in need of encouragement.

    Crisis Support | In times of crisis or emergency, Grace Cares steps in with immediate support, offering 

    resources and a shoulder to lean on.

How You Can Get Involved:

At Grace Cares, we believe that each member has a unique gift to offer. Whether you have a heart for prayer, enjoy baking, or feel called to visit others, there is a place for you on the Grace Cares team. Here are some ways you can help:

    Volunteer to be a prayer partner or join our visitation team

    Assist with meal preparation or delivering meals to families in need

    Help assemble and distribute care packages

    Be part of a support group leader or assist with administrative tasks
